Walk & Talk therapy sessions on Destin/Miramar Beaches will be offered for select clients with the appropriate consent.

I have been fortunate to have attended trainings by the Gottmans and an externship with the late Sue Johnson, among other relationship therapy experts. Dr. Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) resonates the most with me as a therapist, and is the vehicle through which I’ve seen the most impactful movement with my clients.

I use an attchment based framework to identity and heal empathic ruptures; we then uncover the core beliefs and fears underlying our protective behaviors (i.e. our anger, frustation, guardedness, anxiety, withdrawal, and detachment from our partners/spouses). This creates emotional safety for vulnerable sharing and a deepening of fractured connections. Understanding nervous system regulation will also be an integral component of couples therapy.
